Expunctions and Nondisclosures

We understand that your criminal case has the potential to impact you long after it is complete.  That is why we are pleased to be able to assist qualified individuals in keeping law enforcement and criminal justice records as private as possible.  How is this done?

Some individuals may be eligible for an expunction.  Expunction is the process whereby an individual may obtain a court order requiring that the records resulting from their criminal case be destroyed.  Other individuals may be eligible for an order of nondisclosure, whereby they may obtain a court order restricting access to law enforcement agencies and certain other named agencies and organizations.
